For online or e-tutoring appointments, choose Malpass Library and Online. Appointment Times Appointments can be scheduled for 30 minutes up to 2 hours. We strongly encourage you to set an hour-long appointment to get the full benefit of the session. For e-tutoring, please figure 30 minutes per 2 double-spaced pages, with a maximum of 8 double-spaced pages for a 2-hour appointment. E-Tutoring (new in spring 2020) E-tutoring allows you to upload a writing project during a scheduled time slot and receive feedback at the end of that time slot. When making an e-tutoring appointment (make sure to click e-tutoring), schedule 30 minutes per 2 double-spaced pages, with a maximum of 8 double-spaced pages for a 2-hour appointment. Please attach your writing as a Word document, along with an assignment sheet and any information that will assist us in providing feedback. Consultants will provide constructive/instructive feedback but will not simply edit or proofread. You are encouraged to schedule a face-to-face appointment as well to go over feedback. If what you upload is too long to cover in the scheduled time, a consultant will provide the feedback they can in the time allotted. Appointment Limits You are allowed to schedule a limited number of appointments each day and each week. If you reach your maximum, you are welcome to call 309-298-2815 or come in during our regular hours and we can schedule additional appointments for you. Need help?
